Vertigo Theatre is launching its 50th Anniversary Season with the world premiere of The Lodger by Susie Moloney & Vern Thiessen. When a serial killer stalks the night and fear grips the city nobody is above suspicion.

The Lodger runs until October 25th.

Vertigo Theatre opens its 50th anniversary season with The Lodger, a chilling and surprisingly moving world premiere by Susie Moloney and Vern Thiessen. It is based on Marie Belloc Lowndes’ novel and inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s 1927 silent film.

Early in Monstress, a question is spoken that refuses to stay contained. “Am I the monstress?” The line lands not as a confession but as a challenge — one that echoes through the rest of the play and lingers long after the final blackout.
