A Murdoch Mystery leaps from TV onto stage for Vertigo's 50th anniversary season

Canada’s premier detective, William Murdoch, will take centrestage to close Vertigo’s 50th anniversary season in May 2027.

Murdock Mysteries has been Canada’s top TV detective series for 20 years, while Vertigo Theatre has been Canada’s leading murder mystery theatre company for 50 years. To celebrate these milestones, Vertigo and Shaftesbury Films are collaborating on The Midnight Torch: A Detective Murdoch Mystery, the first stage version for the Canadian sleuth.
